My groups presentation was on the afro Jamaicans in Spanish town,I was not aware that it was once the first capital of Jamaican. I also learned that there is also a diverse number of religions in Jamaica, my impression was that it mainly consist of Christians or pentecostal and the Rastafarian movement, so to realise that there were Seventh day Adventist, and Jehovah witlessness, in that capacity was an eye opener for me.
Most of the culture which is publicised was already known to me like their music and artiste and food,kenetic;s haptics, para-language and so on.
however learning a little more about any culture is good and can enlighten ones perception and understanding of the behaviour of its people.
